PAINTING ALLOWS ME TO TRANSLATE INNER EXPERIENCES INTO VISUAL COMPOSITIONS BUILT THROUGH RHYTHM, REPETITION, AND CLOSE ATTENTION.

OMER UDVIN
FINDING A VOICE THROUGH COLOR
Born 1999 creates from an inner calm from which a vibrant storm is born. His life has been shaped by dealing with a complex media and social world, but precisely through this challenge, he has formed a personal, rich, and precise artistic language.
His paintings are built from layers of dots, lines, and geometric shapes - a stubborn and unique visual language that returns control to his hands.
Whether these are figures wearing colorful hats, fantastical urban landscapes, or bright flowers against a black background, there is always a sense of dialogue in Omer's work between naive imagination and deliberate structure.
The graphic arrangement, repetition of patterns and symbols, and bold use of color create a language reminiscent of a tradition of pointillism, yet translated into a contemporary digital age, almost punk-like.
His works aim to offer the viewer a dual experience: from a distance, a colorful and alluring carpet; up close, a complex system of details, dots, and textures.
The encounter between micro and macro embodies how the artist mediates his inner world to the viewer - from concealment to revelation, from particular to universal.
